In 2001, Cornwall Safari Lodge was established by Jannie & Heather Strumpher due to the growing need for accommodation and hunting in the Southern part of Botswana. At Cornwall Safari Lodge, we endeavor to give you an African experience of a lifetime.

The Lodge has been operational for 6 years and already boasts a large international client base. Heather manages the guest lodge and Jannie is the professional outfitter who, and with his professional hunting team, takes care of the hunting, eco-safaris and 4x4 excursions.

ACCOMMODATION:
Cornwall Safari Lodge has been designed with an African feel. Although the African feeling is very present, we have a relaxing swimming pool and tennis court. Evenings are spent around the campfire in the BOMA or in the thatched recreation area where you can enjoy your dinner in the restuarant.Self-catering is also an option (a variety of BBQ packs and Ice available in abundance). A visit to Cornwall Safari Lodge in Botswana is an outdoor venue never to be missed. The Ranch offers you the true African experience with all the needed Western amenities.

We have full laundry services available. Our restaurant only serves light meals such as toasted sandwiches, burgers and meal of the day, due to the isolated nature of the Lodge. Remember, self-catering is an option.

CLIMATE AND SEASON INFO
Botswana is known to be hot and dry all year round with temperatures reaching up to 45°C in the summer.

  • Beware of the winters that drop to as low as -2°C
  • Be sure to pack for the correct season.
  • Winter: June - August and
  • Summer: December - February.
  • Between the seasons, it is likely to be beautiful and moderate.

2 luxury tents in the safety of the lodge property, with electrical points next to the lodge. If two adults R250 per person sharing and if two more join, only R150 per person. If two children share with adults R75 per child. (Children 6-12 half price)
